Berlin meeting proposals
If still not, you are about to get hooked!
This step you may finalize as a group (each partner should create a group). Think of any proposal of an activity or a specific issue you may wish to suggest for Platoniq and MRI's sessions at the OH Berlin Consortium Meeting in May 2019. This way all proposals will be sorted out in categories listed on this platform and all your suggestions will be considered when finalizing the 2 sesions we're asking you to co-design.
How do you take this step? Do not worry, it´s easy! Instructions are to be sent in an email but also you can read the instructions in the manual(Opens in new tab) in the ´help´ section of this platform (check text ´How to create a Group(Opens in new tab)´ and then read ´How to create a Group Proposal´(Opens in new tab)).
So, let´s get started!
Co-design Platoniq's and ICLEI & Friends Session at Berlin's Consortium Assembly”! Through this you will be able to co-design activities we will all participate in when we next see each other on the 13th and 14th May.
1. Make proposals (DEADLINE 24th April 30th 12H CET):
To make proposals and help us co-design Platoniq’s and ICLEI & Friends sessions you should go to the following open processes:
A) Co-design Platoniq's Session on Digital community and participation at Berlin's Consortium Assembly
Link: https://labs.openheritage.eu/processes/berlin-meeting/f/36/(Opens in new tab)
We’re looking for fun and serious proposals to tackle the challenges of the participatory platform, limits of participatory processes in a EU project. You shall think of a game, a collective dynamic to be represented in space, a discussion around a specific issue you’re concerned with, or simply an idea of a sexy feature for the platform (see 2 proposals submitted by Platoniq in that sense already).
The only condition is that the activity you’re proposing should not last more than 15 minutes, in order to ensure having time for others. Oh, and please express your ideas in less than 500 words ;)
B) "How can we provide better input for website and social media?” (Session conducted by ICLEI, CEU and MRI)
The space for proposals for that session has already been created, but further instructions will come in the next email, after the Easter Holiday, so be ready!

A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.
In this phase example proposals are defined.
Open call for gather proposals from community for the two areas defined.
