How to Create a Participatory Text

First, as with all parts or components of a process you have the select the process you want to add the text to:

Then click on components

Then click add component

Then click ‘Proposals’

When editing your proposal you need to click ‘Participatory texts enabled’ to make it into a participatory text.

Also click ‘proposal creation enabled’

Finally click ‘add component

To have the component appear in your process, as always, you have to publish it by clicking the check mark:

Then to add texts to edit to the participatory text component you need to click the pencil

Then click on ‘participatory texts’

Uploading Texts

There are two ways to upload texts. The first is to upload a document in the format of Markdown or Odt. For that you need to click ‘participatory texts’

As an example and intro paragraph was uploaded with the Odt format. It should look like the following once uploaded:
