How to Incorporate Maps on Decidim

Maps are a part of the the proposals component. Let’s assume you have two locations in question that you would like to show as a part of your project.

First go to the process you have started. For this example the process I’m going to select is ‘Networking Event’

After clicking on Networking event. I will click on ‘components’ here:

Then click add component

Click ‘proposals’

Then fill in the fields of the proposals that apply. But especially click ‘geocoding enabled’

And that proposals are enabled

then add the component

then publish your component by clicking the check mark

Go to your page and the process you’ve started. select the component that you created for proposals

Because you selected to geocode there will be a map point for each proposal made

Click ‘new proposal’

fill in the appropriate fields and then click continue
